The Music

Art DeLorio has been playing on the Gulf Coast for over thirty years, performing at all major hotels and casinos. He owned the Sugar Mill Restaurant and Club for eighteen years. In Lafayette, Louisiana, he was the host of Meet Your Neighbor, a weekly TV show. For the last seven years, he has specialized in playing for ballroom dances in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi and Texas.

Edd Jones Orchestra Edd Jones Orchestra is known for its ability to please the varied tastes of the dancing public. The latest addition to the band is vocalist and flutist Kelli Udas, a superb musician and real crowd pleaser. They are one of the featured bands at “The Club”, an exclusive Birmingham dinner and dance establishment. This popular musical group has also performed in Huntsville, Tuscaloosa, Montgomery, Dothan, Mobile, Pensacola, Daphne, Nashville, Indianapolis, Enterprise and Tunica. Leader Edd Jones received his Bachelor and Masters Degrees at the University of Alabama while he was leader of the Alabama Cavaliers Dance Orchestra. Later he received his Ph.D. from the University of Southern Mississippi. He performed with or backed up the likes of Sammy Kaye, Jan Garber, Vaughn Monroe, Pat Boone, Joni James, “Holiday on Ice” and Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus.
